Safe Arrival and First Impressions

6 Feb. 2011 Posted by Pastor Bill in

We arrived safely in Uganda at 11:30 PM on 2/4. We had great favor the entire trip with no delays, easy passage through customs, and all 14 boxes arrives safely. Thank you for praying.

In the morning, we awoke refreshed and full of energy. Your prayers for us are manifesting on our physical bodies. Bill and I have felt the strong presence of the Holy Spirit, and our love for you grows deeper as we know you are lifting us before the throne of God.

Today we met with members of our East African Prepare the Way Ministry team. Everyone was excited to see us. We also met with some of the local pastors. One of our dear friends in Lugazi informed us that one of the hills near Lugazi has been purchased and dedicated to the Lord as a “prayer mountain.” People have already come to the mountain “to meet with God” in His outdoor sanctuary.  Those gathered prayed all night. Our friend told us that the flesh wars against the spirit. As sleep tried to come, they refused to allow the flesh to take control. They prayed harder. The rain came, and they continued to pray. After hours of being in God’s presence, for the first time they noticed how much rain had fallen.

In my spirit, I feel God is preparing us for a new level of encounter with Him. We have received several prophetic words in recent weeks regarding walking through doors into the kingdom, having warriors with shields covering us as they stand shoulder to shoulder, being given keys to break the curses in a land of blood covenants. Together with you, we will see the darkness pushed back and the glory of God increase in Uganda.
