Meet Mercy Mirembe

FULL SPONSORSHIP

 

Mercy Mirembe was born on April 13, 2005. Mercy’s mother is Sarah Anyango who is from the Musamya tribe. The late father was from the Busoga tribe and was considered to be one of the islanders who lived off the coast of Lake Victoria. The father rejected all of these children. The mother dropped them off with Josephine, the grandmother one day with the promise that she would come back for them when she had found a job. She notified the grandmother that she no longer wanted her children. The grandmother asked Prepare the Way Ministry to care for the children. Mercy lives in a Love Home called Mercy Home with Pastor James and Veronica Akolo  in Kibubu. She has three siblings: Jackie Kuwagala who is one year younger, Frank Muwanguzi who is two years older, and Peace Tendo who is two years younger. Mercy loves attending Sunday school at the neighborhood church pastored by James and Veronica. She attends the church's primary school. Mercy is a sweet girl who is no longer withdrawn but full of the love of the Lord.
