Worship to the King

9 Jan. 2015 Posted by Pastor Bill in

This has been a wonderful week of sharing and giving in Uganda. The team delivered over 60 fat Muzungu (white man) chickens to the staff members of Prepare the Way Ministry and children's homes. We also held the annual Christmas party for about 150 people. All of the staff, children, volunteers, and those connected with Prepare the Way Ministry. The day was wonderful, filled with worship to the King and the Word of God going forth, followed by a feast. The meal included chicken, beef, matoke (steamed bananas), rice, sweet potatoes, Irish potatoes, yams, cassava (the root that tapioca is made of), pineapple, mangos, watermelon, salads, and cabbage. Most of the meat was raised and the produce was grown on Hope Gardens or Agape Garden. The entire day focused around Jesus and the privilege of being His people. The simplicity and beauty of Christmas in Uganda is beyond compare.
Prepare the Way Ministry wishes all of our friends and family a very blessed Christmas. The prayer of our hearts is that as you seek Him with all of your hearts; that your eyes will be opened to see Him, not as a babe in the manger but a the conquering King of kings. We love you; and God bless you.
Love, Pastors Bill and Linda
