Beatrice Nansuga was born on September 30, 2010 in the village of Bunakijja, Uganda. She belongs to the Buganda tribe. Her life next to Lake Victoria was simple but happy because she had both of her parents. Her mother, Jane Nambalirwa was riding on a boda (motorcycle taxi) when a truck hit the motorcycle. She was unconscious for two weeks before she died. Beatrice attended the mother's burial on April 4, 2014. Beatrice, Lydia (her 5 year old sister) and their father, Samuel Byekweso were grieving over their loss and trying to understand life without a mother. On the tragic night of Saturday, August 23, 2014; their father died in his sleep from an unknown cause. Beatrice and Lydia attended the burial of their father just four months after watching their mother being lowered into the ground. The grandmother, Beatrice Buswalwa brought the two girls into her home which was already overcrowded with ten children and grandchildren. Aloysious Kayongo, the girl's uncle and a Prepare the Way Ministry board member contacted us with the desperate situation. Beatrice and Lydia were moved into Hope Children's Home on August 26, 2014 just three days after the burial of their father. Please sponsor Beatrice. She needs prayer for her little heart. Her health condition is good other than needing treatment for worms. She has not yet started any formal schooling.
